Blogger Spotlight: Meg S. of Megonomics101
Hey CBville! We love a girl with great style, so every month our Blogger Spotlight series will highlight some of the cool, crazy beautiful style bloggers that we follow. Playing dress up is never boring, so it's a chance for these blogger babes to show us how they'd style our new arrivals while also highlighting their personal style.
This month's blogger spotlight is with Meg Sullivan of Megonomics101, a fun play on the study of economics, but involving fashion + beauty! Meg is a college senior at the University of M, so in between classes she gets to experiment with her style and share all of the cute details on her blog.
Style means just wearing what you like! I find it hard to stick to one particular style because I find inspiration from everything. I just wear what I think is cute and wish for the best! My personal style is a mess! I love colorful things and anything that sparkles! I like wearing comfortable things that are easy to throw on and go! I like wearing classic pieces and then adding a pop of color with accessories or a cute bag!
Megonomics101 is my little piece of the internet where I can put up pretty things that represents me! The idea behind Megonomics101 came to me last year when I was trying to think of a name. I was trying to get inspiration from everything and then I remembered one of Essie’s nail polishes, ‘stylenomics’, and that’s how I came up with my name! The ‘definition’ or tagline I like to use for Megonomics101 is, the study of life according to me. So, I would say that’s what my blog is all about, just everything I love!
When I’m trying to get outfit inspiration I always look on Pinterest; there are so many chic outfits on there and it really gets me inspired. I also love following other bloggers and re-creating their looks.
Two of my favorite bloggers are Southern Curls and Pearls, and The Sweetest Thing. Emily and Caitlin always wear the cutest things and could make anything look good. I also have a great group of blogger friends, so I always look at what they are wearing!
I loved the sequin black romper but the silky blush top was also gorgeous! If I had to pick one, I would say the silky pink top look is my favorite!
I think it's perfect for the holiday season but also for a night out with friends. I can’t wait to wear it more because it’s such a statement piece!
